Welcome to Project Third Day S. de R.L!

This is a blog so that you can see what the project is about and stay updated on your investment in Honduras.
Third Day is a business legally established in Honduras. Our goal is to reforest depleted areas in the rural villages of the city of Catacamas in the State of Olancho. We plant trees in an agroforestry system. In this system we plant Mahogany trees along with shade trees and cocoa trees. In a different section we plant Mahogany trees, shade trees and coffee trees.
The name Third Day comes from Genesis 1:12-13 which says:  "The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the Third day."

We believe this is God's project and we will use it to honor him as he is our main partner.

The project began in June 2009 with a search for land and a lot of research.
